Good but key features are distracting..

Very good and convenient text editor, and I almost like it’s key feature (focus on the text, not on the formatting). But there are two things that distract me during the typing:
1. Font size. It cannot be changed, but it is way too big for me.
2. Word and characters count font in status bar is too bright in some themes (in comparison to text and background colors).
